Durian has unique characteristic of delicious flavor, creamy texture, and tantalizing fragrance smell. They are grown mainly in south east Asia. It is one of the dozen tropical fruit found in Malaysia, along with rambutan, mango, papaya, pineapple and several others. Durian also known as " king of fruits"in Asia.
A healthy grown durian tree normally can bear 50-70 fruits, they are usually ready for consumption after 90-120 days of flowering. Majority of the people like the taste and flavor , will come back for more after their first try, with exception of a few especially from western culture which probably will consider the strong aromas as "stinks" and repulsed by the smell. A normal size durian weigh several pounds and can be easily carry in a bundle of 3-4 pieces with one hand.
