Myanmar
Myanmar’s military regime allegedly seized UN's aid shipments on Friday headed for cyclone survivors, prompting the world body to say it was suspending food aids flights. Top U.S. diplomat there was told that American aid workers are not allowed to go in despite warnings the country is on the verge of a medical catastrophe. The number of dead could eventually exceed 100,000 because of illnesses and thousands of children may have been orphaned.
The picture above shown the massive scale of destruction by recent cyclone, corpses afloat at the affected area, only a handful of helpless monks trying to search for survivors , while the all powerful military junta that slaughtered several hundred of Burmese monks in last year peaceful rally is no where in sight.
