The "Sky Kingdom" is a quasi-religious commune located in the eastern Malaysian state of Terengganu, Sky Kingdom's stated aim is to promote interfaith understanding.

The commune will not seem out of place in a Disney theme park, it contains an umbrella-shaped building about two storeys high, an ornamental fishing boat, strategically located Roman pillars, and the centerpiece - a pink teapot.

Followers who come to the village for the first time have to drink "holy water" pouring from a giant vase that is perpetually filled by the teapot.

The commune does not have any moral or religious strictures of its own. Instead, the founder says members can follow any religion they like. He claims that all prayers will be answered by none other than himself, because he is God. According to him, his Sky Kingdom is said to be a version of similar structures found in the sky, except the structures in the sky are apparently more aesthetically pleasing since they are decorated with diamonds, sapphires, and other gemstones.

Ever since government continue scrutiny and harassment of the commune, which has been going on for years, the founder and most of their members was convicted and jailed by Shariah Court for “deviant practices.”

An example of Malaysia stated constitutional guarantee freedom of religion but contrary in practice, whenever other faith or religion is involved.
