Malaysia

Indonesian pop group banned from performing her dangdut thing in Malaysia. Inul Daratista is famous for her killer gyration hip movement posed a "national security threat" to Malaysia, according to government. Members of religious cult threaten to have mass protest against the band if the permit is not revoked, they claimed the performance will encourage the youngsters into immoral behaviors.

Inul's concert in Johor Baru was also canceled at the very last minute after it could not get approval from various government departments in the state. Nasir said his company had incurred RM800,000 in losses following the cancellation of the concerts in Johor and Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia government knee jerk reaction on this outrageous claims by radical group is just another example of a weak leadership in the face of religious extremists challenges in the country. Instead of arresting those who intend to break the law with senseless excuse, the government give in to the threat.
