Citizen Right

Judging from some of these rallies unfolded the past few weeks, one has to wonder why the official refuse to acknowledge or just flatly deny the right of these individual or group from rallying to voice their grievances, as a country that proclaim itself as a democracy, the right of the citizen to peaceful assembly to petition the government is a fundamental constitutional right, whenever citizen feel that their right like freedom of religion, freedom of speech and other rights are violated, they are free to exercise their constitutional rights if other means of communication with the government failed in voicing and redressing the grievances, any responsible democracy shouldn't look at it as a political or national security threat unless there are evidences pointing to a possible violence outcome from the gathering.

Only in a dictatorship, islamofacism, communism or phony democracy form of political system that prohibit citizen the above rights, freedom and liberty. For a truly democratic country like USA, citizen rights are not only enshrined in the federal constitution, they are respected and protected by elected officials and congress whenever those rights are exercised by the citizen.

A truly democratic nation not only have words stipulate the citizen fundamental rights, it also live up to the meaning of the words and show a great example to the world.
