Malaysian Food

Nasi Lemak is typical ethnic Malay food,it' s based on a very simple recipeof rice cooked in coconut milk with flavorings. Street vendors often sell "Nasi lemak bungkus" which are parcels or wraps containing rice, traditionally wrapped in banana leaves with fry crisp ikan bilis, small cut of cucumbers, and spicy sauce.

The meat is always marinated and grilled over charcoal for the best flavor. Beef satay or chicken satay (60sens per stick) tasted juicy and tender, best dipped in the slight sweetish peanut sauce with a dollop of fiery sambal for the extra zing. You can order them to served with the rice cakes( ketupat in the traditional way within the coconut leaves casing), with round of cucumber and onions.

Indian rojak's salad includes cucumber, and deep-fried tofu, but also bean sprouts, assorted deep-fried fritters, a hard-boiled egg and, if you wish, you can add boiled squid (sotong) bathed in chili sauce.

Laksa paste is the foundation of curry laksa, ingredients: red chili, onion, garlic, soy bean oil, dried shrimp, lemon grass, sugar, salt, shrimp paste, peanut, spices, citric acid, msg., To prepare curry laksa, add coconut milk, water and the meat of your choice with the paste, serve with noodle and bean spout, or veggie of your choice.
