Political Asylum

(Omar 26, with his 52 years old British wife)

Omar bin Laden, one of the son of Al-Queda leader Osama bin Laden 19 children, appealing against Spain's decision not to grant him political asylum. It was "unfair" for Spain to deny the asylum because of his family name, he complained. (What's "unfair" is when a mass murderer is allowed walking free after so many years of terrorism.)

Omar requested asylum on the grounds that he did not feel safe in Saudi Arabia, which he is a citizen of, or in Egypt, where he lives, or in any other Arab country. (Who dare to mess with him with such a bad ass daddy around? at least try to come out with a believable excuse.) The government rejected the request partly on the basis of a report by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The UNHCR saw no evidence that Omar's life was in danger in Saudi Arabia.

Spain did not grant the Saudi asylum, because he did not meet Spanish legal requirements for political asylum. The Interior Ministry is to deal with Omar's appeal against its initial decision within two days.

In April, Britain denied a visa to Omar, saying his presence would create public concern.

This dude not only is a Saudi, received military training in afghanistan at 18 years old, also is from a most wanted terrorist's family, i guess Spain hasn't forget about the Madrid train bombing, and is not prepared to take the chance of having 9/11 type of terrorism happen in its border. Better play safe than sorry, let UK have him since it is his wife's country, who know what is he up to prefer Spain instead of UK!
